Education and household furnishings lead the Solomon Islands’ steepest year-on-year CPI rises

Briefcase Index, a global B2B discovery and rankings platform, this week published its 2026 ranking of the five things in the Solomon Islands with the biggest price increases based on the latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) data from the Solomon Islands National Statistics Office.

The ranking compares CPI-tracked household expense categories using year-on-year percentage changes from November 2024 to November 2025, highlighting where inflationary pressures were most pronounced.

“These rankings highlight where price increases are hitting hardest, giving families a clearer picture of household cost pressures and businesses a quick view of inflation trends,” said a Briefcase Index spokesperson.
