Prime Minister Matthew Wale has reshuffled his Cabinet for a second consecutive day, with three more ministers sworn into office at Government House as the administration continues to reshape its front bench.
Harry Kuma was sworn in as Minister for Commerce, Industry, Labour and Immigration, returning to the portfolio he previously held.
Nestor Ghiro has been appointed Minister for Agriculture and Livestock, replacing Franklyn Wasi, while Isikeli Vave Jnr was sworn in as the new Minister for Home Affairs, succeeding Ghiro.
Prime Minister Wale, together with members of his Cabinet, witnessed the ceremony and welcomed the ministers to their respective portfolios.
The latest appointments follow yesterday’s changes, in which Member of Parliament for Central Honiara Gordon Darcy Lilo was replaced as Minister of Finance and Treasury by Member of Parliament for Fataleka constituency Rexon Ramofafia.
 In the same round, Member of Parliament for Central Makira Nestor Ghiro was sworn in as Minister of Home Affairs, while Member of Parliament for West Kwara’ae Alfred Tuasulia took up the Justice and Legal Affairs portfolio.
In a statement, the government said the new appointments will help strengthen the GREAT Coalition that backs the administration.
