Solomon Islands Prime Minister Matthew Wale has officially completed his 24-member Cabinet following a swearing-in ceremony for the remaining 16 Ministers at Government House today.
The final group of Ministers took their oaths of office and allegiance before Governor-General Sir David Tiva Kapu. These appointments follow the swearing-in of the first seven Cabinet Ministers on Saturday – a day after the PM’s election.
The newly sworn-in Ministers and their respective portfolios are:

Following the completion of his team, Prime Minister Wale expressed strong confidence in his full Cabinet, stating that they are ready to serve. The Cabinet is scheduled to meet soon to discuss immediate priorities and decide on a name for the government.
“We are complete and ready to work,” Prime Minister Wale said.
