Three New Ministers Sworn Into Cabinet

Three new Cabinet ministers were formally sworn into office this morning in a ceremony held at Government House.

They are:

  • Hon. Rexon Ramofafia — Minister for Finance and Treasury

  • Hon. Nestor Ghiro — Minister for Home Affairs

  • Hon. Alfred Tuasulia — Minister for Justice and Legal Affairs

Prime Minister Matthew Wale and members of his Cabinet were present to witness the swearing-in ceremony, which marked a significant reorganisation of key portfolios within the GREAT Coalition Government.

A statement from the Office of the Prime Minister states that Ramofafia takes over the Finance and Treasury portfolio from  Gordon Darcy Lilo, who has been removed from the position.

Tuasulia replaces Clerzy Rore as Minister for Justice and Legal Affairs, while  Ghiro succeeds Manasseh Maelanga as Minister for Home Affairs.

The changes mark a significant replacement of key portfolios within the GREAT Coalition Government.
