A statement from the Office of the Prime Minister’s Press Secretariat confirms that Prime Minister Matthew Wale, along with Member of Parliament for Marovo Constituency, Chachabule Amoi, today welcomed Vave into the GREAT Coalition.
Prime Minister Wale acknowledged the Shortlands MP for his confidence and trust in the GREAT Coalition and its leadership.
He said he looks forward to Vave making positive contributions to the Government Caucus and supporting the Coalition’s reform agenda.
Vave has reaffirmed his full support for the GREAT Coalition and its leadership. He will be chairing the Cabinet sub-committee planning for the 50th Independence Anniversary.
With the inclusion of Vave, the Government’s numbers now stand at 32 Members of Parliament.
Isikeli Vave Jnr is the elected Member of Parliament for the Shortland Islands Constituency in the Western Province.
