Bradley Tovosia has been sworn in as the Deputy Prime Minister of the country in a ceremony presided over by Governor General Sir David Vunagi at Government House today.

Mr. Tovosia will also serve as the Minister for Mines, Energy, and Rural Electrification.

The swearing-in ceremony also saw two other cabinet ministers from the Government for National Unity and Transformation (GNUT) take their oaths.

Hon. Peter Shanel Agovaka has been appointed as the Foreign Minister and Minister, while Hon. Polycarp Paea will oversee Lands, Housing, and Survey.

This formalizes their appointments to their respective ministerial portfolios, bringing the total number of ministers to 23, with one more appointment expected later this week.
