Prime Minister Manele to Deliver Keynote at 14th Australia–Solomon Islands Business Forum

The Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) and the Australia Pacific Islands Business Council (APIBC) have welcomed Prime Minister Jeremiah Manele’s confirmation to deliver the keynote address at the 14th Australia–Solomon Islands Business Forum (ASIBF) in Brisbane this November.

In a joint statement, SICCI and APIBC said Prime Minister Manele’s participation highlights the Solomon Islands Government’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with the private sector to drive inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

“We are honoured to host the Prime Minister as Keynote Speaker, alongside Australian Minister for International Development and the Pacific, Hon. Pat Conroy, and other distinguished guests,” the statement said.

The forum, taking place from 17–19 November 2025 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, will focus on expanding trade, investment, and business partnerships between Solomon Islands and Australia.

The Prime Minister will be joined by senior ministers from the Government for National Unity and Transformation (GNUT), as well as representatives from the Solomon Islands private sector and state-owned enterprises.

SICCI commended the Manele Government for its ongoing efforts to promote private sector development through investment-friendly reforms, infrastructure development, and economic diversification in sectors such as agriculture, fisheries, tourism, and manufacturing.

The 14th ASIBF marks another milestone in the deepening economic and diplomatic ties between Solomon Islands and Australia, serving as a key platform to explore new opportunities for business collaboration and shared prosperity in the Pacific.
